ILRS Technical Workshop 2019
Laser ranging: To improve economy, performance, and adoption for new applications
We are excited to announce the ILRS Technical Workshop 2019 in Stuttgart, Germany. Being one of the youngest members of the ILRS, it is a great honour for us to welcome laser ranging and geodesy experts from around the world to this workshop.
We are looking forward to five days of presentations, posters, many discussions on and off the stage and two exciting tours to our laser ranging facilities. Under the motto “Laser ranging: To improve economy, performance, and adoption for new applications” we want to focus on new, important but yet little discussed ideas from the community about the future of laser ranging.
Just prior to the workshop we will offer an SLR School, a full day with introductory talks about many important SLR topics such as lasers, detectors, calibration, normal point generation etc. It will offer a great introduction to the workshop for students, young scientists and people who would like to refresh their memory on the basics of laser ranging.
On this website you will find information about the programme and the practicalities of the workshop. Information is being updated regularly, so please make sure to check back every now and then. If you are missing any information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Participant registration and abstract submission are now open. Since some of the events have limited availability, please make sure to register early. The final deadline for both abstract submission and participant registration is August 15th.
We are looking forward to welcoming you all in Stuttgart!
